{"cve":"CVE-2026-14484","nvd":{"published":"2026-08-15T03:16:47.263","modified":"2026-08-20T12:48:10.287","status":"Deferred","description":"The RapiSafe – Secure Multi File Upload for Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the handleAjaxRemoveUpload function in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.4. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). The nonce required to invoke the removal handler is exposed in public-facing JavaScript as RSMFCF7Vars.nonce on every Contact Form 7 page rendering a RapiSafe upload field, making it obtainable by any unauthenticated visitor.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H","score":9.1},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/rapisafe-multi-file-cf7/trunk/src/RSMFCF7_Assets.php#L201","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/rapisafe-multi-file-cf7/trunk/src/RSMFCF7_Assets.php#L235","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/rapisafe-multi-file-cf7/trunk/src/RSMFCF7_Assets.php#L237","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/rapisafe-multi-file-cf7/trunk/src/RSMFCF7_Assets.php#L244","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/rapisafe-multi-file-cf7/trunk/src/RSMFCF7_Assets.php#L264"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:48:17.459049833+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-14484","score":0.01201,"percentile":0.6822,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
