This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This bypasses both the WordPress core kses-on-save filter and the plugin's own wp_kses_post() call, because entity-encoded script tags are treated as inert text by kses but are decoded into live HTML by the subsequent html_entity_decode() call in CopyrightBlock::render_template().","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.4},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/kubio/tags/2.8.2/build/block-library/blocks/copyright/index.php#L22","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/kubio/tags/2.8.2/build/block-library/blocks/copyright/index.php#L38","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/kubio/tags/2.8.2/lib/src/Core/Blocks/BlockBase.php#L413","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?reponame=&old=3616537%40kubio&new=3616537%40kubio","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/89392f97-58c5-48db-b835-013ef493ca5e?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:55:23.253742848+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-14472","score":0.00356,"percentile":0.29327,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
