This is due to missing nonce validation on the create_or_update_note function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create or update contact notes via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Due to missing sanitization and escaping this can lead to stored Cross-Site Scripting.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/mail-mint/tags/1.19.2/app/API/Actions/Admin/Contact/ContactProfileAction.php#L85","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/mail-mint/tags/1.19.2/app/API/Routes/Admin/Contact/ContactProfileRoute.php#L105","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/mail-mint/trunk/app/API/Actions/Admin/Contact/ContactProfileAction.php#L85","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/mail-mint/trunk/app/API/Routes/Admin/Contact/ContactProfileRoute.php#L105","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3449536/mail-mint/trunk/app/API/Actions/Admin/Contact/ContactProfileAction.php?old=3032077&old_path=mail-mint%2Ftrunk%2Fapp%2FAPI%2FActions%2FAdmin%2FContact%2FContactProfileAction.php"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:22:27.261130201+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-1447","score":0.00184,"percentile":0.08026,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
