{"cve":"CVE-2026-14209","nvd":{"published":"2026-06-30T13:17:10.317","modified":"2026-08-05T19:17:21.210","status":"Modified","description":"A vulnerability was discovered in Keycloak's Admin UI extension that allows certain administrative users to bypass security restrictions. When Fine-Grained Admin Permissions (FGAPv2) are enabled, an administrator who should only be able to search for users (but not view their full details) can use a specific \"brute-force-user\" endpoint to access a user's full profile. This includes sensitive information and security metadata. The issue occurs because the system fails to check if the administrator has the required \"view\" permission for that specific user when using this particular search path.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-639"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:50846","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:50847","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:50848","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:50849","https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2026-14209"],"products":["redhat:build_of_keycloak","redhat:jboss_enterprise_application_platform_expansion_pack"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:41:17.107060303+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-14209","score":0.00386,"percentile":0.32685,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
