{"cve":"CVE-2026-13757","nvd":{"published":"2026-06-29T19:16:40.907","modified":"2026-10-14T20:17:32.733","status":"Modified","description":"A flaw was found in p11-kit. The RPC message attribute parsing functions p11_rpc_message_get_attribute() and p11_rpc_message_get_attribute_array_value() form a mutually-recursive call chain with no recursion depth limit when processing nested CKA_WRAP_TEMPLATE, CKA_UNWRAP_TEMPLATE, and CKA_DERIVE_TEMPLATE attributes. An unauthenticated attacker with local access to the p11-kit RPC Unix domain socket can send a specially crafted request with deeply nested template attributes, causing stack exhaustion and crashing the p11-kit server process and its dependent services.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":6.2},"cwes":["CWE-674"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:37469","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:38342","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:49667","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:49668","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:53371"],"products":["p11-kit_project:p11-kit","redhat:enterprise_linux","redhat:hardened_images","redhat:openshift_container_platform"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:41:17.107060303+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-13757","score":0.00154,"percentile":0.04444,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
