A namespace-scoped user with create/update permissions on InferenceService custom resources can exploit this vulnerability by providing a malicious `storageUri`. This Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability allows the `storage-initializer` init container to issue arbitrary outbound HTTP/HTTPS requests from inside the cluster. This can lead to information disclosure, including credential theft for the node's Identity and Access Management (IAM) role or access to internal cluster services.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.7},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2026-13451","https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2493640"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-28T20:41:45.883959281+00:00"},"epss":null,"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
