{"cve":"CVE-2026-13369","nvd":{"published":"2026-07-02T10:16:28.130","modified":"2026-10-25T21:10:00.770","status":"Deferred","description":"The Ninja Forms - File Uploads plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read via the attach_files() function in versions up to, and including, 3.3.29. This is due to the get_files_for_attachment() function accepting a raw attacker-controlled 'files' array when the process() method returns early due to a client-supplied saveProgress flag, bypassing all upload validation, path normalization, and database record creation steps, and allowing an attacker-supplied file_path value to reach wp_mail() as an email attachment with only a file_exists() check. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files on the affected site's server.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/ninja-forms-uploads/trunk/includes/fields/upload.php#L71","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/ninja-forms-uploads/trunk/includes/integrations/ninjaforms/attachments.php#L107","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/ninja-forms-uploads/trunk/includes/integrations/ninjaforms/attachments.php#L196","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/87d4dd4a-b1e2-4d08-aef1-77e58aa7531d?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-25T23:44:34.550481224+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-13369","score":0.00599,"percentile":0.48376,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
