{"cve":"CVE-2026-13039","nvd":{"published":"2026-07-10T21:16:53.283","modified":"2026-07-13T16:59:13.647","status":"Deferred","description":"The Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass due to a regression in versions from 4.0.26 up to and including 4.1.15. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action in the payment_complete() function of PaymentController.php. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to mark unpaid ticket orders as completed by submitting a fabricated SureCart checkout ID or FluentCart cart hash, granting themselves paid event access, QR-code attendee tickets, and order confirmation emails without making any real payment. The wp_rest nonce required to reach the vulnerable endpoint is embedded in every public event page, meaning no WordPress session or credentials are needed to obtain it. This vulnerability represents a regression — the same function and endpoint were previously patched but the fix did not persist through subsequent releases.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-862"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?reponame=&old=3600977%40wp-event-solution&new=3600977%40wp-event-solution","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/84a5348a-a307-4db4-83b6-08682282a4b8?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:44:02.134301115+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-13039","score":0.00353,"percentile":0.2893,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
