{"cve":"CVE-2026-12428","nvd":{"published":"2026-07-09T11:16:24.550","modified":"2026-07-09T16:19:45.567","status":"Deferred","description":"The Blocks for ACF Fields plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data due to a missing capability check on the get_all_values() function in the /wp-json/acf-field-blocks/v1/values REST endpoint in versions up to, and including, 1.6.2. The permission_callback only verifies the generic publish_posts capability and the handler passes a user-supplied id parameter directly to get_field_objects() without verifying that the requesting user is authorized to read the target object. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to read ACF field values from arbitrary posts (including private posts, drafts, posts by other users, and other ACF-supported objects) that they should not have access to.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-862"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acf-field-blocks/tags/1.5.0/inc/class-rest.php#L100","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acf-field-blocks/tags/1.5.0/inc/class-rest.php#L296","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acf-field-blocks/tags/1.5.0/inc/class-rest.php#L302","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acf-field-blocks/tags/1.6.0/inc/class-rest.php#L100","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acf-field-blocks/tags/1.6.0/inc/class-rest.php#L296"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:44:02.134301115+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-12428","score":0.00475,"percentile":0.4108,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
