In addition, the attacker must have write access to a \nconfiguration file. However, after successful instantiation, the instance is very likely to be discarded with no further ado.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:H/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:L/SC:L/SI:L/SA:L/S:N/AU:N/RE:M/U:Green","score":1.8},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-20"],"references":["https://logback.qos.ch/news.html#1.5.25"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:21:16.563232421+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-1225","score":0.00162,"percentile":0.05426,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-qqpg-mvqg-649v","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-qqpg-mvqg-649v","summary":"Logback allows an attacker to instantiate classes already present on the class path","modified":"2026-09-10T03:50:33.725359105Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"ch.qos.logback:logback-core","purl":"pkg:maven/ch.qos.logback/logback-core","ranges":["<1.5.25"],"fixed":["1.5.25"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
