{"cve":"CVE-2026-1180","nvd":{"published":"2026-01-20T13:16:03.003","modified":"2026-06-17T10:15:16.857","status":"Deferred","description":"A flaw was identified in Keycloak’s OpenID Connect Dynamic Client Registration feature when clients authenticate using private_key_jwt. The issue allows a client to specify an arbitrary jwks_uri, which Keycloak then retrieves without validating the destination. This enables attackers to coerce the Keycloak server into making HTTP requests to internal or restricted network resources. As a result, attackers can probe internal services and cloud metadata endpoints, creating an information disclosure and reconnaissance risk.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":5.8},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:6477","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:6478","https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2026-1180","https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2430781"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:21:16.563232421+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-1180","score":0.00406,"percentile":0.34864,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-7vw6-5q2f-7w5r","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-7vw6-5q2f-7w5r","summary":" Keycloak’s OpenID Connect Dynamic Client Registration feature affected by Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF)","modified":"2026-04-02T15:48:48.898411Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.keycloak:keycloak-adapter-core","purl":"pkg:maven/org.keycloak/keycloak-adapter-core","ranges":["<=25.0.3"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
