When a read ends in the last bytes of a chunk, add() takes the chunk short and parses the leftover data as the next chunk-size line.\n\nA remote attacker can make a chunked body never complete, hanging a server that reads until the body is done, and may make it complete early, leaving the remaining bytes to be read as the next request.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-130"],"references":["https://github.com/libwww-perl/HTTP-Body/commit/5869dde9fe6d13f189a435b6583fd63fcc18677a.patch","https://metacpan.org/release/GETTY/HTTP-Body-1.24/changes"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-28T18:33:43.673322083+00:00"},"epss":null,"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
