A line of hex digits followed by a bare LF and then CRLF never matches, because `.` does not match LF, and each failed attempt backtracks in time quadratic in the length of the hex run. Nothing limits the length of the line.\n\nA remote attacker can exhaust worker CPU by sending such requests to any route.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-1333"],"references":["https://github.com/miyagawa/Starman/commit/0f33f9b132b5e410d6cce722ff71988e22476acf.patch","https://metacpan.org/release/MIYAGAWA/Starman-0.4019/changes"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-25T17:50:09.638852875+00:00"},"epss":null,"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
