{"cve":"CVE-2026-114724","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-22T02:17:00.343","modified":"2026-10-22T16:45:49.550","status":"Undergoing Analysis","description":"Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.20 and 1.7.x before 1.7.5 contains an object injection primitive in rcube_session::unserialize(). A session key prefixed with “!” was treated as having no value, and the reconstructed serialized string was emitted with a key but no corresponding value, desynchronizing the remainder of the input so that following session data was interpreted as a serialized value. This yields a PHP object injection primitive for an attacker able to influence stored session data. Upstream fixed this in the commit “Fix object injection primitive in rcube_session::unserialize() via “!”-prefixed session keys”, which rejects such keys.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.4},"cwes":["CWE-502"],"references":["https://bugs.debian.org/1151279","https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/commit/833770d3d3c35cfde74cc2614d368f25a75b6f99","https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/commit/93284f3f0e13f99af37fc3b81861e142eea8a922","https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/releases/tag/1.6.20","https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/releases/tag/1.7.5"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-23T16:39:28.036610720+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-114724","score":0.00258,"percentile":0.17334,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
