{"cve":"CVE-2026-114717","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-22T02:16:59.223","modified":"2026-10-22T16:45:49.550","status":"Undergoing Analysis","description":"Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.20 and 1.7.x before 1.7.5 is affected by a mail header injection vulnerability when a message is forwarded as an attachment. The subject of the forwarded message was used verbatim to generate the attachment name, so a received message whose subject contains CRLF sequences could inject arbitrary MIME part headers into the outgoing message. Upstream fixed this in the commit “Fix mail header injection via subject of a message forwarded as attachment”, which collapses whitespace in the generated name.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":4.0},"cwes":["CWE-99"],"references":["https://bugs.debian.org/1151279","https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/commit/4c3291ce9df9e1d3b45330d0854d65cd8efbeee9","https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/commit/c325953a251d0132f1909569b3eac0b974095dd4","https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/releases/tag/1.6.20","https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/releases/tag/1.7.5"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-23T16:39:28.036610720+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-114717","score":0.00299,"percentile":0.22341,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
