{"cve":"CVE-2026-114621","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-23T14:17:51.143","modified":"2026-10-23T16:28:32.357","status":"Deferred","description":"baserCMS is a website development framework. In versions 5.0.0 before 5.3.2 and 5.4.0 before 5.4.2, list and detail actions in the Admin and Api/Admin prefixes pass request query parameters, including contain, conditions, fields, finder, and order, directly to the ORM as options. A user able to log into the admin panel can embed SQL fragments in those options to execute arbitrary SQL against the application's database, including reading password hashes from the users table. Public-page and public-API fixes released in 5.3.1 and 5.4.1 did not protect these administrative paths. Setting USE_CORE_ADMIN_API to false does not prevent access through an authenticated browser session. This issue has been patched in versions 5.3.2 and 5.4.2.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":["CWE-89"],"references":["https://github.com/baserproject/basercms/commit/344de2aa975eda6d85dc1fa4647ba094caf8dcb6","https://github.com/baserproject/basercms/releases/tag/5.3.2","https://github.com/baserproject/basercms/releases/tag/5.4.2","https://github.com/baserproject/basercms/security/advisories/GHSA-2w6g-wp3r-26m3"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-24T16:53:35.584907681+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-114621","score":0.00352,"percentile":0.28548,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
