{"cve":"CVE-2026-11355","nvd":{"published":"2026-09-12T08:16:22.523","modified":"2026-09-14T17:17:42.570","status":"Deferred","description":"The DT LMS – elearning, WordPress LMS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on multiple AJAX handlers (including dtlms_save_poc_settings, dtlms_save_skin_settings, and dtlms_save_options_settings) in versions up to, and including, 1.1. These handlers are registered on the wp_ajax_nopriv_* hook and contain no capability check, no nonce verification, and pass user-supplied data directly to update_option(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite arbitrary plugin option values stored in the wp_options table, including Point-of-Contact email configuration and skin/branding settings, which can be used to alter the appearance and behavior of the LMS for all site visitors.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-862"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/dt-lms-lite/trunk/settings/settings-poc-utils.php#L102","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/dt-lms-lite/trunk/settings/settings-poc-utils.php#L97","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/dt-lms-lite/trunk/settings/settings-utils.php#L15","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/dt-lms-lite/trunk/settings/settings-utils.php#L53","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/dt-lms-lite/trunk/settings/settings-utils.php#L59"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:53:43.293028046+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-11355","score":0.00425,"percentile":0.3684,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
