The impacted element is the function rename_table of the file /cgi-bin/mainfunction.cgi of the component Rename Table Handler. This manipulation of the argument newtable causes command injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 1.5.1.7 is sufficient to resolve this issue. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. The vendor explains: \"2960 1.5.1.7 has corrected many security issues. And 2960 is EoS with limited support, only major issues would be reviewed(e.g. unauthenticated vuln.)\". This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:L/SC:L/SI:L/SA:L/E:P","score":2.1},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L","score":7.4},"cwes":["CWE-74","CWE-77"],"references":["https://fw.draytek.com.tw/Vigor2960/Firmware/v1.5.1.7/Vigor2960_v1.5.1.7.zip","https://github.com/yikesoftware/DrayTek_Vigor2960_Security_Analysis/tree/main/cases/DRV2960-0013-authenticated-rename-table-command-injection","https://vuldb.com/cve/CVE-2026-113396","https://vuldb.com/submit/992249","https://vuldb.com/vuln/422672"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-21T03:56:58.798400159+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-113396","score":0.01566,"percentile":0.75128,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
