Attackers can exploit the temporary-download endpoint's insufficient Content-Security-Policy sandbox to execute scripts when the attachment is opened, enabling theft of the victim's credentials and mailbox contents. Proofpoint Threat Research has observed exploitation in the wild as a credential and mailbox stealer.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:H/SI:L/SA:N","score":6.2},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N","score":8.2},"cwes":["CWE-79","CWE-83"],"references":["https://gfi.ai/resource/kerioconnect-product-releases/","https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/gfi-kerioconnect-8p2-stored-xss-via-svg-attachment"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-27T17:36:04.447049452+00:00"},"epss":null,"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
