Prior to 3.14.4, Host-Only scope on an existing parent-domain cookie can be removed by a subdomain. A user who accesses an untrusted subdomain can consequently have host-only protections stripped from cookies, although impact is limited when applications do not reflect those cookies to a browser. This issue is fixed in version 3.14.4.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:P/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":2.3},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-565"],"references":["https://github.com/aio-libs/aiohttp/commit/6a07c171ef9f3be583e2907dcd1931372efca8d6","https://github.com/aio-libs/aiohttp/releases/tag/v3.14.4","https://github.com/aio-libs/aiohttp/security/advisories/GHSA-gx76-c99x-2c96"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-23T16:39:26.291718493+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-111749","score":0.00384,"percentile":0.32159,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-gx76-c99x-2c96","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-gx76-c99x-2c96","summary":"AIOHTTP: Cookie from subdomain can remove Host-Only Scope from existing cookies","modified":"2026-10-20T20:15:05.188135798Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"aiohttp","purl":"pkg:pypi/aiohttp","ranges":["<3.14.4"],"fixed":["3.14.4"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
