The vulnerability arises from the lack of sanitization or HTML encoding of the `content` field when deserializing user-provided data. This allows an attacker to inject malicious HTML or JavaScript payloads, which can be executed in the context of another user's browser. Exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to account takeover, session hijacking, or wormable attacks.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.1},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://github.com/parisneo/lollms/commit/9767b882dbc893c388a286856beeaead69b8292a","https://huntr.com/bounties/d3d076a7-2a51-4e07-8d0e-91e28e76788e"],"products":["lollms:lollms"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T22:26:44.656832877+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-1116","score":0.00258,"percentile":0.17298,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"PYSEC-2026-2200","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-2200","summary":"","modified":"2026-07-13T07:15:27.796089674Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"lollms","purl":"pkg:pypi/lollms","ranges":["<2.1.1"],"fixed":["2.1.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
