{"cve":"CVE-2026-1114","nvd":{"published":"2026-04-07T07:16:23.633","modified":"2026-10-26T22:10:00.163","status":"Analyzed","description":"In parisneo/lollms version 2.1.0, the application's session management is vulnerable to improper access control due to the use of a weak secret key for signing JSON Web Tokens (JWT). This vulnerability allows an attacker to perform an offline brute-force attack to recover the secret key. Once the secret key is obtained, the attacker can forge administrative tokens by modifying the JWT payload and resigning it with the cracked secret. This enables unauthorized users to escalate privileges, impersonate the administrator, and gain access to restricted endpoints. The issue is resolved in version 2.2.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.0","vector":"CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},"cwes":["CWE-284"],"references":["https://github.com/parisneo/lollms/commit/a3b2b82b84d537a9da63e63a370a6a8ad55fed34","https://huntr.com/bounties/608b2a3b-2225-438e-9e61-ffbfdec2ed89","https://huntr.com/bounties/608b2a3b-2225-438e-9e61-ffbfdec2ed89"],"products":["lollms:lollms"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T22:26:44.656832877+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-1114","score":0.0054,"percentile":0.45192,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-9296-v3fr-j92j","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-9296-v3fr-j92j","summary":"LoLLMs is vulnerable to Improper Access Control through weak secret key","modified":"2026-07-07T23:56:24.875731334Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"lollms","purl":"pkg:pypi/lollms","ranges":["<2.2.0"],"fixed":["2.2.0"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-170","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-170","summary":"","modified":"2026-07-13T16:45:08.042135176Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"lollms","purl":"pkg:pypi/lollms","ranges":["<=2.1.0"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
