{"cve":"CVE-2026-108266","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-09T21:17:05.023","modified":"2026-10-16T16:00:33.533","status":"Awaiting Analysis","description":"Privasys rustls is a maintained fork of the rustls TLS library that adds RA-TLS challenge and channel-binding support. Prior to privasys-v0.8.1, the fork emitted RA-TLS challenge certificates whose quote ReportData was bound to the certificate public key and client nonce but not to the active TLS session. An attacker who obtained an enclave TLS private key could relay a genuine quote onto another connection, causing a relying party to accept an attacker-terminated connection as the attested enclave. This issue is fixed in privasys-v0.8.1.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":9.1},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-346"],"references":["https://github.com/Privasys/rustls/commit/ab630583b58fee84260cbbfe2f4a8b45d8bde200","https://github.com/Privasys/rustls/releases/tag/privasys-v0.8.1","https://github.com/Privasys/rustls/security/advisories/GHSA-j6qv-435v-r492","https://privasys.org/blog/binding-attestation-to-the-tls-session"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:58:01.639778232+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-108266","score":0.00117,"percentile":0.01673,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
