{"cve":"CVE-2026-107910","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-09T06:17:12.457","modified":"2026-10-15T17:17:13.727","status":"Deferred","description":"An improper authentication vulnerability in the is_authenticated function (src/bolt/bolt_api.c) in FalkorDB before 4.20.0 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute graph queries without credentials through the Bolt endpoint. The function decides whether a password is required by issuing an empty AUTH command to Redis and treats only a WRONGPASS error as meaning that a password is required; any other error, such as LOADING while a dataset is being loaded, MASTERDOWN during replication failover, or OOM under memory pressure, causes the client to be treated as authenticated. Only deployments that enable the Bolt endpoint (BOLT_PORT, disabled by default) are affected.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":9.2},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.1},"cwes":["CWE-287"],"references":["https://github.com/FalkorDB/FalkorDB/commit/0b11a00b34b25c4d4fdfe55f0a35c8a00593bd7d","https://github.com/FalkorDB/FalkorDB/pull/2170","https://github.com/FalkorDB/FalkorDB/releases/tag/v4.20.0"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:58:01.639778232+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-107910","score":0.00477,"percentile":0.40897,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
