This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires that an administrator has explicitly granted the 'Create and Update Modules' (hustle_create / hustle_edit_module) capability to the attacker's role via the plugin's own Settings → Permissions feature; this delegation is not enabled by default.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.4},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wordpress-popup/tags/7.8.14.3/inc/front/hustle-module-front.php#L917","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wordpress-popup/tags/7.8.14.3/inc/front/hustle-module-renderer.php#L163","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wordpress-popup/tags/7.8.14.3/inc/front/hustle-module-renderer.php#L181","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wordpress-popup/tags/7.8.14.3/inc/hustle-module-model.php#L569","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wordpress-popup/tags/7.8.14.3/inc/hustle-modules-common-admin-ajax.php#L49"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-28T07:37:43.411221249+00:00"},"epss":null,"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
