{"cve":"CVE-2026-107629","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-29T10:17:02.440","modified":"2026-10-29T11:17:24.990","status":"Received","description":"The Greenshift – animation and page builder blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 13.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the affected post page to include an Advanced HTML Element block with Split Text animation enabled wrapping a Latest Comments block that displays comment excerpts, as this configuration causes splittext.js to be enqueued and to process the comment content container.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/greenshift-animation-and-page-builder-blocks/tags/13.2.1/includes/helper.php#L340","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/greenshift-animation-and-page-builder-blocks/tags/13.2.1/init.php#L734","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/greenshift-animation-and-page-builder-blocks/tags/13.2.1/libs/utility/splittext.js","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/greenshift-animation-and-page-builder-blocks/tags/13.2.1/libs_beauty/utility/splittext.js#L47","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3755701/greenshift-animation-and-page-builder-blocks/trunk/libs/utility/splittext.js"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-29T11:44:53.014972599+00:00"},"epss":null,"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
