The editor inserts package names into script attributes without HTML encoding. When combined with CVE-2026-50053, an attacker with an ordinary Zimbra account can supply their own authentication token and document identifiers in a URL and execute JavaScript in another signed-in user's Zimbra browser session when that user opens the URL. This permits reading mailbox data and performing authenticated actions as the victim. The issue affects ZCS 10.1.16 and was remediated in 10.1.17.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":8.7},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_Security_Advisories","https://www.rapid7.com/blog/post/ve-breaking-zimbra-identity-boundaries-part-1/"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-24T16:53:35.584907681+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-10632","score":0.00301,"percentile":0.22658,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
