{"cve":"CVE-2026-106109","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-06T18:16:52.340","modified":"2026-10-06T20:17:17.473","status":"Awaiting Analysis","description":"Quasar Framework is a framework for building high-performance Vue.js user interfaces. From 1.0.0 until 3.3.0, @quasar/app-vite recursively removed the resolved build.distDir before building without rejecting the project root, user home directory, filesystem roots, or symlink-resolved external directories. An unsafe trusted configuration can delete data writable by the build user before compilation begins. No attacker-controlled input reaches build.distDir by default, so exploitation requires compromised or less-trusted automation to influence build configuration, or a developer to run a mistaken configuration. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:H/AT:P/PR:H/UI:A/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":4.1},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-22","CWE-73"],"references":["https://github.com/quasarframework/quasar/commit/6c009734b406e246a0855ed060e3a822de8aecc1","https://github.com/quasarframework/quasar/releases/tag/@quasar/app-vite-v3.3.0","https://github.com/quasarframework/quasar/security/advisories/GHSA-q9mq-245r-4g93"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:58:01.639778232+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-106109","score":0.00126,"percentile":0.02228,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-q9mq-245r-4g93","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-q9mq-245r-4g93","summary":"Quasar Framework: App Vite build cleanup can recursively remove unsafe configured output directories","modified":"2026-10-07T16:30:06.349887482Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@quasar/app-vite","purl":"pkg:npm/%40quasar/app-vite","ranges":[">=1.0.0 <3.3.0"],"fixed":["3.3.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
