From 5.94.0 until 6.64.0, when creating a bookmark card, Ghost could store non-image files fetched from an external website as bookmark icons or thumbnails. This allowed any staff user, including Contributors, to host arbitrary HTML on the site's domain, possibly resulting in compromise of other staff users' admin sessions. This issue is fixed in version 6.64.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":7.3},"cwes":["CWE-79","CWE-434"],"references":["https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/commit/b41fe3f2c399cef058e6b487782a0b2263e86c03","https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues/30761","https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/releases/tag/v6.64.0","https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/security/advisories/GHSA-347q-26qq-h2p6"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:57:46.668721662+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-105651","score":0.00302,"percentile":0.22718,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-347q-26qq-h2p6","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-347q-26qq-h2p6","summary":"Ghost: Stored XSS via Bookmark Card Images","modified":"2026-10-13T08:26:11.116541794Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"ghost","purl":"pkg:npm/ghost","ranges":[">=5.94.0 <6.64.0"],"fixed":["6.64.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
