This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with editor-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The poisoned importer path is persisted to the database and later triggered via a separate GET request to the /source_info endpoint, which passes the attacker-controlled path to fopen() and fgetcsv() and returns parsed file contents in the REST response.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":4.9},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://github.com/tainacan/tainacan/commit/1cc2c179d213670ae4bd378473d6fecbc35c6357","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tainacan/tags/1.3.0/classes/api/endpoints/class-tainacan-rest-importers-controller.php#L146","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tainacan/tags/1.3.0/classes/api/endpoints/class-tainacan-rest-importers-controller.php#L190","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tainacan/tags/1.3.0/classes/api/endpoints/class-tainacan-rest-importers-controller.php#L223","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tainacan/tags/1.3.0/classes/api/endpoints/class-tainacan-rest-importers-controller.php#L266"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-28T07:37:43.411221249+00:00"},"epss":null,"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
