{"cve":"CVE-2026-104736","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-17T04:16:47.780","modified":"2026-10-19T15:16:45.150","status":"Deferred","description":"The LearnPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in versions up to, and including, 4.4.10 via deserialization of untrusted input from the 'checkout-email' request parameter during the checkout AJAX action. The value is passed through sanitize_text_field(), which does not strip serialized object syntax, then stored in the LearnPress session table and later fed to LP_Helper::maybe_unserialize() → unserialize() (without an allowed_classes restriction) by LP_Session_Handler::get() on subsequent requests. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},"cwes":["CWE-502"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/learnpress/tags/4.4.9.1/inc/class-lp-ajax.php#L21","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/learnpress/tags/4.4.9.1/inc/class-lp-checkout.php#L377","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/learnpress/tags/4.4.9.1/inc/class-lp-checkout.php#L523","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/learnpress/tags/4.4.9.1/inc/class-lp-session-handler.php#L373","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?reponame=&old=3750024%40learnpress&new=3750024%40learnpress"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T23:00:53.604569364+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-104736","score":0.00676,"percentile":0.51961,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
