{"cve":"CVE-2026-104192","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-13T15:17:31.087","modified":"2026-10-13T16:17:11.333","status":"Deferred","description":"Dragonfly is an in-memory data store built for modern application workloads. Prior to 1.40, OpaqueObjLoader::CreateStream in src/server/rdb_load.cc can associate one streamNACK with a consumer group's global PEL and a consumer-local PEL, then free the shared object when a duplicate consumer entry is rejected. Cleanup subsequently frees the same object again. In the default configuration, where Dragonfly ships with authentication disabled, an unauthenticated client can trigger the double-free by sending a crafted serialized stream to RESTORE, causing allocator corruption, denial of service, and potentially attacker-controlled code execution as the Dragonfly service account. The source fix has not yet been mapped to a published release.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.6},"cwes":["CWE-415"],"references":["https://github.com/dragonflydb/dragonfly/commit/6c6b27a5cfd03d67eb9583ab84a0f0709e3bc77e","https://github.com/dragonflydb/dragonfly/pull/7929","https://github.com/dragonflydb/dragonfly/security/advisories/GHSA-cg35-6jf4-crfh"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:58:52.678897993+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-104192","score":0.00276,"percentile":0.19848,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
