{"cve":"CVE-2026-103882","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-31T09:16:32.510","modified":"2026-10-31T09:16:32.510","status":"Received","description":"The Acadlix LMS – AI Quiz Maker, Online Exam & Course Plugin for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the post_delete_assessment_file_by_id function in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.9. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). The route's permission callback only verifies a generic wp_rest nonce that the plugin itself emits inside the public acadlixOptions JavaScript object on every frontend page, effectively reducing the authentication requirement to unauthenticated.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H","score":9.1},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acadlix/tags/1.1.8/includes/Common/Assets/Manager.php#L570","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acadlix/tags/1.1.8/includes/Common/REST/Front/FrontQuizController.php#L680","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acadlix/tags/1.1.8/includes/Common/REST/Front/FrontQuizController.php#L692","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acadlix/tags/1.1.8/includes/Common/REST/Front/FrontQuizController.php#L807","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/b54682f6-914e-4c16-b8fb-63b5dcb14933?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-31T09:39:03.416545639+00:00"},"epss":null,"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
