{"cve":"CVE-2026-103422","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-14T03:17:14.037","modified":"2026-10-14T15:17:03.970","status":"Deferred","description":"The AnyComment plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'email' parameter in versions up to, and including, 0.3.6. This is due to insufficient input sanitization on the public /wp-json/anycomment/v1/subscribe REST endpoint and missing output escaping in AnyCommentSubscriptionsTable::column_default(), which returns the stored email verbatim into an HTML <td> when the subscription's user_ID does not resolve to an existing WP_User. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever an administrator accesses the AnyComment → Subscriptions admin page.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":7.2},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/anycomment/tags/0.3.6/includes/Admin/Tables/AnyCommentSubscriptionsTable.php#L107","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/anycomment/tags/0.3.6/includes/Models/AnyCommentSubscriptions.php#L311","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/anycomment/tags/0.3.6/includes/Rest/AnyCommentRestSubscriptions.php#L124","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/anycomment/tags/0.3.6/includes/Rest/AnyCommentRestSubscriptions.php#L59","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/ce925d1c-2254-49ea-9fcf-e948813b3f2c?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:59:28.494260111+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-103422","score":0.00309,"percentile":0.2348,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
