{"cve":"CVE-2026-102834","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-16T20:17:17.563","modified":"2026-10-19T20:52:31.100","status":"Awaiting Analysis","description":"JavaCV provides Java interfaces to OpenCV, FFmpeg, and other multimedia libraries. Prior to 1.5.14, IPCameraFrameGrabber doubles a 32-bit buffer capacity without checking for overflow or bounding the parsed Content-Length. An application consumes an MJPEG response from a malicious camera endpoint or a tampered plaintext stream. The source can return an oversized Content-Length header in an MJPEG stream. Successful exploitation can trap the frame-grabbing thread in a permanent CPU-spinning loop and deny service. This issue is fixed in version 1.5.14.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-190"],"references":["https://github.com/bytedeco/javacv/commit/cd1977800b827beadf3c53c4032e57172845e0b4","https://github.com/bytedeco/javacv/releases/tag/1.5.14","https://github.com/bytedeco/javacv/security/advisories/GHSA-rxjv-24xq-76wc"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-21T03:56:58.798400159+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-102834","score":0.00335,"percentile":0.26584,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-rxjv-24xq-76wc","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-rxjv-24xq-76wc","summary":"JavaCV: Integer Overflow in IPCameraFrameGrabber Causes Infinite-Loop DoS","modified":"2026-10-16T20:00:04.169076372Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.bytedeco:javacv","purl":"pkg:maven/org.bytedeco/javacv","ranges":["<1.5.14"],"fixed":["1.5.14"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
