{"cve":"CVE-2026-102539","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-12T22:17:01.967","modified":"2026-10-16T20:02:37.630","status":"Awaiting Analysis","description":"Super Productivity is an advanced todo list app with integrated timeboxing and time tracking capabilities. From 17.3.0 until 18.13.1, the SuperSync end-to-end encryption setup calls sync(true) before a user sets an encryption password, causing the operation-upload path to transmit and store all user operations in plaintext. The exposed operations can include private task content and connected issue-provider credentials, including reusable passwords, API tokens, and app passwords. Users who complete E2EE setup have the plaintext operations deleted, while users who leave the password-setting step can leave the data stored indefinitely. The Disable SuperSync action did not remove plaintext that had already been uploaded. Routing and causal metadata remain plaintext by design and are not part of this vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 18.13.1.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:P/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":5.7},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-312","CWE-693"],"references":["https://github.com/super-productivity/super-productivity/commit/63253f8e0c3b145f2d47f819ab8f910d6873fd88","https://github.com/super-productivity/super-productivity/pull/8670","https://github.com/super-productivity/super-productivity/releases/tag/v18.13.1","https://github.com/super-productivity/super-productivity/security/advisories/GHSA-9v8x-68pf-p5x7","https://github.com/super-productivity/super-productivity/security/advisories/GHSA-9v8x-68pf-p5x7"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:58:52.678897993+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-102539","score":0.00161,"percentile":0.05248,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
