{"cve":"CVE-2026-101907","nvd":{"published":"2026-09-28T18:17:19.270","modified":"2026-09-30T19:38:27.293","status":"Undergoing Analysis","description":"Axios is a promise-based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js. From 1.17.0 until 1.20.0, the fetch adapter bypasses the maxRedirects: 0 redirect policy. An Axios request uses the fetch adapter with maxRedirects set to zero and receives a redirect response. The underlying fetch implementation follows the redirect instead of returning the redirect response unchanged. The redirected request can access internal responses or reach state-changing internal endpoints despite redirects being disabled. This issue is fixed in version 1.20.0.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:H/SI:H/SA:N","score":7.0},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-441","CWE-601"],"references":["https://github.com/axios/axios/commit/d19040bda7a8be2f82c3c6e1a5bc03917daee39a","https://github.com/axios/axios/pull/11141","https://github.com/axios/axios/releases/tag/v1.20.0","https://github.com/axios/axios/security/advisories/GHSA-r4gj-5m52-g5wh","https://github.com/axios/axios/security/advisories/GHSA-r4gj-5m52-g5wh"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:56:48.555445741+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-101907","score":0.00471,"percentile":0.40511,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-r4gj-5m52-g5wh","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-r4gj-5m52-g5wh","summary":"Axios: maxRedirects: 0 is not enforced by the fetch adapter, allowing redirect-based SSRF","modified":"2026-09-30T15:45:41.466464360Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"axios","purl":"pkg:npm/axios","ranges":[">=1.17.0 <1.20.0"],"fixed":["1.20.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
