{"cve":"CVE-2026-101899","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-13T16:17:09.173","modified":"2026-10-16T16:00:33.533","status":"Awaiting Analysis","description":"Axios is a promise-based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js. From 1.15.0 until 1.20.0, Axios shouldBypassProxy treats the NO_PROXY CIDR form as a textual hostname suffix instead of evaluating the network range. A request targets an address covered by a CIDR entry in NO_PROXY while a proxy is configured. The CIDR bypass rule is not matched, so the request is sent through the configured proxy. For plaintext HTTP, the proxy can observe and modify URLs, headers, and bodies; for HTTPS, it can observe connection metadata and CONNECT requests. This issue is fixed in version 1.20.0.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:H/SI:N/SA:N","score":6.9},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-693"],"references":["https://github.com/axios/axios/commit/d19040bda7a8be2f82c3c6e1a5bc03917daee39a","https://github.com/axios/axios/pull/11141","https://github.com/axios/axios/releases/tag/v1.20.0","https://github.com/axios/axios/security/advisories/GHSA-44g4-m2mj-wpvx","https://github.com/axios/axios/security/advisories/GHSA-44g4-m2mj-wpvx"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:58:52.678897993+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-101899","score":0.00512,"percentile":0.43385,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-44g4-m2mj-wpvx","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-44g4-m2mj-wpvx","summary":"Axios: CIDR-form NO_PROXY entries are ignored, causing proxy exclusion bypass for internal IP ranges","modified":"2026-09-30T15:45:41.069795706Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"axios","purl":"pkg:npm/axios","ranges":[">=1.15.0 <1.20.0"],"fixed":["1.20.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
