In deployments where session-memory capture and dreaming are enabled, a restricted external sender whose messages are admitted with limited tools can persist instructions that are later supplied to an unattended background (dreaming) agent holding broader file and command capabilities, allowing actions beyond the authority of the original turn and affecting files, commands, or services available to that agent. Exploitation requires the content to be captured, selected for later processing, and followed by the model. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":7.7},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-863"],"references":["https://github.com/openclaw/openclaw/security/advisories/GHSA-62qm-6fjj-6g23","https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/openclaw-before-2026.8.1-privilege-escalation-via-session-memory"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:56:48.555445741+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-100535","score":0.00264,"percentile":0.18113,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
