{"cve":"CVE-2026-10032","nvd":{"published":"2026-08-04T16:16:20.983","modified":"2026-10-23T23:10:00.157","status":"Analyzed","description":"The openUrl function in @a2ui/web_core passes an agent-controlled URL directly to window.open() without validating the URI scheme. A malicious agent can supply a javascript: URI as the url argument of a Button component's functionCall action. When the user clicks the rendered button, arbitrary JavaScript executes in the victim application's browser origin, constituting a stored/reflected XSS with Critical severity. No non-default configuration is required; the Basic Catalog is enabled by default.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U","score":6.1},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.1},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://github.com/a2ui-project/a2ui/security/advisories/GHSA-72qq-p3r5-f7wq"],"products":["google:a2ui\\/web_core"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-24T16:53:34.184483516+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-10032","score":0.00125,"percentile":0.02214,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-72qq-p3r5-f7wq","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-72qq-p3r5-f7wq","summary":"@a2ui/web_core: `openUrl` permits `javascript:` URI execution via agent-supplied button actions","modified":"2026-10-02T23:15:06.684553771Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@a2ui/web_core","purl":"pkg:npm/%40a2ui/web_core","ranges":[">=0.9.0 <0.10.2"],"fixed":["0.10.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
