{"cve":"CVE-2026-0562","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-29T18:16:14.460","modified":"2026-06-17T10:10:57.043","status":"Modified","description":"A critical security vulnerability in parisneo/lollms versions up to 2.2.0 allows any authenticated user to accept or reject friend requests belonging to other users. The `respond_request()` function in `backend/routers/friends.py` does not implement proper authorization checks, enabling Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) attacks. Specifically, the `/api/friends/requests/{friendship_id}` endpoint fails to verify whether the authenticated user is part of the friendship or the intended recipient of the request. This vulnerability can lead to unauthorized access, privacy violations, and potential social engineering attacks. The issue has been addressed in version 2.2.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:L","score":8.3},"cwes":["CWE-863"],"references":["https://github.com/parisneo/lollms/commit/c46297799f8e1e23305373f8350746b905e0e83c","https://huntr.com/bounties/6aab01ca-a138-4a1d-bef9-3bce145359bf","https://aydinnyunus.github.io/2026/04/18/idor-lollms-friend-request-cve-2026-0562/"],"products":["lollms:lollms"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:18.033120106+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-0562","score":0.00273,"percentile":0.19722,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"PYSEC-2026-204","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-204","summary":"","modified":"2026-06-06T20:00:05.083074138Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"lollms","purl":"pkg:pypi/lollms","ranges":["<2.1.1"],"fixed":["2.1.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
