This is due to missing nonce validations in the edd_sendwp_disconnect() and edd_sendwp_remote_install() functions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to deactivate or download and activate the SendWP plugin via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:L","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/easy-digital-downloads/tags/3.5.0/includes/deprecated-functions.php#L1678","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3346633/easy-digital-downloads/trunk/includes/deprecated-functions.php?old=3328623&old_path=easy-digital-downloads%2Ftrunk%2Fincludes%2Fdeprecated-functions.php","https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-digital-downloads/#developers","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/636c9d92-ee62-499d-8d73-33cd63bb5af8?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:07:46.309729541+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-8102","score":0.00169,"percentile":0.06239,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
