When an authenticated attacker attempts to merge accounts with another existing account during an identity provider (IdP) login, the attacker will subsequently be prompted to \"review profile\" information. This vulnerability allows the attacker to modify their email address to match that of a victim's account, triggering a verification email sent to the victim's email address. The attacker's email address is not present in the verification email content, making it a potential phishing opportunity. If the victim clicks the verification link, the attacker can gain access to the victim's account.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.1},"cwes":["CWE-346"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2025:11986","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2025:11987","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2025:12015","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2025:12016","https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2025-7365"],"products":["redhat:keycloak"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:04:28.436527499+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-7365","score":0.00274,"percentile":0.19811,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-xhpr-465j-7p9q","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-xhpr-465j-7p9q","summary":"Keycloak phishing attack via email verification step in first login flow","modified":"2025-07-30T14:42:20.089609Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.keycloak:keycloak-services","purl":"pkg:maven/org.keycloak/keycloak-services","ranges":["<26.0.13"],"fixed":["26.0.13"]},{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.keycloak:keycloak-services","purl":"pkg:maven/org.keycloak/keycloak-services","ranges":[">=26.2.0 <26.2.6"],"fixed":["26.2.6"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
