This offset\ncalculation is what triggers the stack-out-of-bounds error.\n\nIn order to fix this, pass in a bprm_is_check boolean which can be set\ndepending on how process_measurement is called. If the caller has a\nlinux_binprm pointer and the function is BPRM_CHECK we can determine\nis_check and set it then. Otherwise set it to false.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:H","score":7.1},"cwes":["CWE-125"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0f39d936a34933ebfbdc13a04f0aba814d3b9709","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/377cae9851e8559e9d8b82a78c1ac0abeb18839c","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/ab3d16da982a4ebb715d487dbf9dd66e3990d935"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-71306","score":0.00184,"percentile":0.07946,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
