As noted in that change, the __counted_by\nmember must be initialized with the number of elements before the first\narray access happens, otherwise there will be a warning from each access\nprior to the initialization because the number of elements is zero. This\noccurs in exynos_clkout_probe() due to .num being assigned after .hws[]\nhas been accessed:\n\n UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds in drivers/clk/samsung/clk-exynos-clkout.c:178:18\n index 0 is out of range for type 'clk_hw *[*]'\n\nMove the .num initialization to before the first access of .hws[],\nclearing up the warning.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":["CWE-129"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/a317f63255ebc3dac378c79c5bff4f8d0561c290","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/cf33f0b7df13685234ccea7be7bfe316b60db4db","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/eb1f3a6ab3efee2b52361879cdc2dc6b11f499c0","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/fbf57f5e453dadadb3d29b2d1dbe067e3dc4e236"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:19:41.481987139+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-71143","score":0.00144,"percentile":0.03643,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
