This can allow the work handler to run\nafter the structure has been freed, leading to a potential use-after-free.\n\nUse disable_work_sync() instead of cancel_work_sync() to ensure the\nreinit work cannot be re-queued, and call it both in lkkbd_disconnect()\nand in lkkbd_connect() error paths after serio_open().","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":["CWE-416"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3a7cd1397c209076c371d53bf39a55c138f62342","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8cf889d45bbc8477206dda78c8f757ea8ff68213","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/cffc4e29b1e2d44ab094cf142d7c461ff09b9104","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e58c88f0cb2d8ed89de78f6f17409d29cfab6c5c"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-71073","score":0.00178,"percentile":0.07263,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
