{"cve":"CVE-2025-69986","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-27T15:16:45.887","modified":"2026-06-17T10:00:56.993","status":"Awaiting Analysis","description":"A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the ONVIF GetStreamUri function of LSC Indoor Camera V7.6.32. The application fails to validate the length of the Protocol parameter inside the Transport element. By sending a specially crafted SOAP request containing an oversized protocol string, an attacker can overflow the stack buffer, overwriting the return instruction pointer (RIP). This vulnerability allows for Denial of Service (DoS) via device crash or Remote Code Execution (RCE) in the context of the ONVIF service.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.2},"cwes":["CWE-20","CWE-121"],"references":["https://github.com/victorGoeman/LSC-Indoor-Camera-Security-Research/blob/main/CVE-2025-69986.md"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:18.033120106+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-69986","score":0.00558,"percentile":0.46516,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
