{"cve":"CVE-2025-69627","nvd":{"published":"2026-04-13T16:16:24.867","modified":"2026-10-15T12:10:00.230","status":"Modified","description":"Nitro PDF Pro for Windows 14.41.1.4 contains a heap use-after-free vulnerability in the implementation of the JavaScript method this.mailDoc(). During execution, an internal XID object is allocated and then freed prematurely, after which the freed pointer is still passed into UI and logging helper functions. Because the freed memory region may contain unpredictable heap data or remnants of attacker-controlled JavaScript strings, downstream routines such as wcscmp() may process invalid or stale pointers. This can result in access violations and non-deterministic crashes.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.4},"cwes":["CWE-416"],"references":["https://jeroscope.com/advisories/2025/jero-2025-016/"],"products":["gonitro:nitro_pdf_pro"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:30:49.762551342+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-69627","score":0.00199,"percentile":0.09578,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
