{"cve":"CVE-2025-68930","nvd":{"published":"2026-02-23T21:19:08.500","modified":"2026-06-17T09:59:50.573","status":"Analyzed","description":"Versions of the Traccar open-source GPS tracking system up to and including 6.11.1 contain a Cross-Site WebSocket Hijacking (CSWSH) vulnerability in the `/api/socket` endpoint. The application fails to validate the `Origin` header during the WebSocket handshake. This allows a remote attacker to bypass the Same Origin Policy (SOP) and establish a full-duplex WebSocket connection using a legitimate user's credentials (JSESSIONID). As of time of publication, it is unclear whether a fix is available.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-1385"],"references":["https://github.com/traccar/traccar/security/advisories/GHSA-69x6-wcx2-vghp"],"products":["traccar:traccar"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:24:17.937441719+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-68930","score":0.00556,"percentile":0.46372,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
