{"cve":"CVE-2025-68478","nvd":{"published":"2025-12-19T18:15:51.623","modified":"2026-10-13T11:10:00.203","status":"Analyzed","description":"Langflow is a tool for building and deploying AI-powered agents and workflows. Prior to version 1.7.0, if an arbitrary path is specified in the request body's `fs_path`, the server serializes the Flow object into JSON and creates/overwrites a file at that path. There is no path restriction, normalization, or allowed directory enforcement, so absolute paths (e.g., /etc/poc.txt) are interpreted as is. Version 1.7.0 fixes the issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:L","score":7.1},"cwes":["CWE-610","CWE-73"],"references":["https://github.com/langflow-ai/langflow/security/advisories/GHSA-f43r-cc68-gpx4","https://github.com/langflow-ai/langflow/security/advisories/GHSA-f43r-cc68-gpx4"],"products":["langflow:langflow"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:17:07.138532058+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-68478","score":0.05787,"percentile":0.9305,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-f43r-cc68-gpx4","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-f43r-cc68-gpx4","summary":"External Control of File Name or Path in Langflow","modified":"2026-06-06T00:45:48.719106148Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"langflow","purl":"pkg:pypi/langflow","ranges":["<1.7.1"],"fixed":["1.7.1"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2025-125","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2025-125","summary":"","modified":"2026-05-20T09:19:04.363616Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"langflow","purl":"pkg:pypi/langflow","ranges":["<1.7.0"],"fixed":["1.7.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
